While both health coaches and therapists help individuals improve their lives, therapists typically focus on addressing mental health issues and past traumas, while health and wellness coaches focus on behavior change; helping individuals achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.
My approach to goal-setting is to help clients identify specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART) goals. I also work with clients to create an action plan and provide accountability to ensure they stay on track to achieve their goals.
Yes. I take confidentiality and security seriously. I have signed the Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with Google Workspace, which includes Meet, which when signed, allows for the secure transmission and storage of Protected Health Information (PHI).
Unfortunately most insurances don't cover health coaching at this time. Most companies do allow you to use FSA or HRA funds however.
The length of a coaching program depends on the individual and their goals. There are several packages to choose from which covers a range of needs and budgets. You can choose the right one for you.
